If after the first classroom session and the first series of practice riding exercises you decide to drop out of the Basic RiderCourse (BRC) or are counseled out of a BRC, $100.00 of the course fee will be refunded to you upon request. We are the only NJ Motorcycle Provider that offers this unique refund policy. Other providers will not refund any of the course fee.
Students can be counseled out of a course for safety reasons or for not meeting the objective of a practice riding exercise within the alloted time frame for that exercise, or after remediation.
Registration changes (switching to another class) or cancellations for any course must be made NO LATER than five business days before the start of the class you are registered for. The entire course fee will be refunded for cancellations made prior to this 5-day deadline or you can switch to another class at no additional charge if you notify us prior to this 5-day deadline. There will be no refunds for cancellations and no registration changes after this 5-day deadline. Besides losing your money for any cancellations and registration changes after this 5-day deadline, there will also be a $45 administrative fee.
Classes begin promptly and students are required to attend all the sessions on time. STUDENTS CAN BE REMOVED FROM THE CLASS BY THE INSTRUCTOR(S) IF THEY ARE MORE THAN 15 MINUTES LATE. Students removed from the class for tardiness, not showing up for class or not having all the proper riding gear stated on our website and course confirmation letter will forfeit their entire course fee. The only exception to this policy are individuals with an illness that provide us with a doctor's note.
The Riding Academy of NJ reserves the right to cancel classes without prior notice for any reason. Students registered for a canceled class may either reschedule for a later class at no additional cost or may opt for a refund of their entire course fee. The Riding Academy of NJ reserves the right to schedule students for alternate class dates than those requested by students on the registration form. Registrants who decline the alternate dates will receive a full refund.
