They both told me to leave because I wasn't getting it. Plus, almost all of the instructors yelled and screamed. I took the course for the third time at The Riding Academy with Mr. Bill and Joann. "Thank you so much for teaching us to ride this weekend! The skills, strategies, all of it, is SO important. I CAN'T IMAGINE getting on a bike without having gone through a course like this. It is truly no surprise that people who don't take an MSF course are far more likely to be in an accident. It seems like this should be a requirement to get an M endorsement. I kind of think it should be a requirement to get a license at all! We'd have much better drivers out there.
Your knowledge and patience and thorough coverage of the material was outstanding. I really loved the whole course, and appreciate all your effort to make us safe and confident riders.
Please pass on my thoughts to John as well, as I feel exactly the same about his skills, knowledge and patience as a teacher.
My next steps after getting a bike are to go out early every morning for a month and ride the streets of Hoboken with no traffic. Getting used to stops and starts and turns and potholes and other street crud.
Practicing the test material again and again in a parking lot! I want to hone my skills to become truly second nature so I am an even more confident rider when dealing with real traffic. LIke I tell my kids on their bicycles when going off a curb or down a slope, ride through it with confidence, you and the bike will make it to the other side of the obstacle, don't think about the obstacle or it will get you. It's so true in motorcycling too!

"What a Great experience it was taking BRC last weekend!
I was there on Friday night without any clue about motorcycles and pretty sure that I wouldn't like it anyway. The moment I pressed that little button with my right thumb I knew that is it. Having great instructors as Super Dave and Kevin on the course didn't help, it was crucial. If it wasn't for them I'm not sure that I would have the feeling that I have since Sunday, I'm pressing imaginary clutch on my pick-up truck, still.
I will be back, many times, first to get help with picking right bike for me and thereafter to improve skills. Thank you again for a time and effort to deal with personality that each of us has, and then having us not only learn but adopt what you told us."

"I wanted to say thanks for the great course and great instructors (Super Dave and Bill). Between their instruction and speaking with you on breaks I learned a ton. Just got back from Roar to the Shore in Wildwood and never would have made it there without you guys. All through the ride there and back, I was recalling and using all of the techniques you guys taught us.
I am glad I chose The Riding Academy of NJ and am recommending it to my friend who will be learning to ride soon.

"Thank you for a very professional learning experience this past October as the New York-area experienced an early snowstorm.
Dave and Don Daves worked exceptionally hard to ensure a safe and rigorous weekend of classes – even as snow made an unexpected visit.
The classroom discussions were smart and the skills drills on the course were methodical and comprehensive. Throughout the experience, our instructors were encouraging and focused.
I learned a lot about basic safety that I will take with me for the rest of my life as I hit the road on a Vespa or a motorcycle. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to take a course that will give them skills and confidence. Further, the course helped me get the training and paperwork needed to get a motorcycle endorsement on my New Jersey driver’s license. While I am new at riding my Vespa on the road, I know I am a much safer and confident rider because of the weekend I spent at The Riding Academy.

I have been riding motorcycles for approximately 30 years this is the second class I have ever attended I wish they had taught that first class, I thought I was a good rider but what I learned on Saturday has made me a better more confident rider today.
Due to a heavy rain at the end of the course we did not have a chance to fill out an evaluation sheet on these 3 men, but if we did I would have given each of them excellent ratings.
